District Umpire Notice
The District 9 Umpire Association is going to hold the next meeting in January 2012.
The District 9 Umpire Association is going to hold the next meeting on Saturday January 28, 2012. The meeting will be held at the Gold Corral located at 4690 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33966.
Join us at 9:00 for Breakfast (Dutch Treat) at the restaurant and then the meeting will start about 10:00. If you cannot join us early for Breakfast, please join us for the meeting. The meeting will be held in the meeting room off the main dinning room. The room is to the right when you enter the restaurant. We look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting. Anyone interested in joining the association please join us at the meeting on Saturday.
World Series Appointment for 2012
Please join the District 9 UIC and Administrator in congratulating Jeff Ward on his appointment to the 2012 Little League Softball World Series in Portland, Oregon.
Southeastern Region Appointment for 2011
Pat Carse participated at the 2011 Junior League Softball Regional in Fort Myers, Florida..
Former UIC, Kevin Hunter, participate in the 2011 Senior Legue Baseball Eastern Region in Bristol, Connecticut.
World Series and Southeastern Region Appointments for 2010
Please join the District 9 UIC and Administrator in congratulating Sidney Whitman on his recent success at the 2010 Little League Softball World Series in Portland Oregon. It was great seeing Sidney at the World Series.
In addition the District had two individuals participate in 2010 Southeastern Region Tournaments.
Dalton Banks participated at the 2010 Senior Softball Regional in Lady Smith, Virginia. He received his World Series recommendation.
Wayne Kardel participated at the 2010 Senior Baseball Regional. He received his World Series recommendation.
There have also been many District 9 Umpires who have officiated Little League Southeastern Region Championship games in the past.

If you are interested in improving your four man umpire skills you should attend a State of Florida Clinic.

The District 9 Staff will be hosting 2012 Little League Rules and Field Clinics. This clinic is a great way to start the season for all people that will be on the field as an umpire in the 2012 season.

Southeastern Region Umpire Clinic
If you are interested in improving your umpire skills you should attend a Southeastern Region Clinic. This Umpire Clinic will be hosted for the first time at the new Little League Southeastern Regional Headquarters in Warner Robbins Georgia.
